In June 2024, Ukraine experienced a slight decrease in average food prices by 0.1% compared to the previous year, as per the State Statistics Service (Gosstat). Despite this general decrease, the prices of certain goods have seen an increase, with pasta increasing by 0.9%, bread and bakery products by 0.8%, and meat and meat products by 0.4%. On the other hand, prices for sunflower oil, sugar, vegetables, and eggs have significantly dropped by 10.9%, 11.5%, 17.9%, and 22.4% respectively.
