Promaq: Minas Gerais Receives Over 300 Agricultural Machines

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Carlos Fávaro, will deliver 318 agricultural machines to 301 municipalities in Minas Gerais this Thursday (12th). The initiative is part of the National Program for Modernization and Support of Agricultural Production (Promaq), established by Ordinance No. 775/25 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa). The delivery ceremony will take place at CeasaMinas, in Contagem. Promaq aims to modernize the agricultural sector, increase rural productivity, reduce regional inequalities, and promote sustainable development. Through the program, the Federal Government acquires and donates agricultural machines and equipment in partnership with public and private institutions.
