The Spanish Agricultural Guarantee Fund (Fega) has announced the provisional aid amounts for various livestock farms under the 2024 Campaign for Agricultural Policy (CAP). The aid is allocated for extensive and semi-extensive beef cattle farmers (186.6 million euros), cow's milk producers (122 million euros), and extensive and semi-extensive sheep and goat meat farmers (131.6 million euros). Additional aid will be provided for sustainable production of sheep and goat milk (44.7 million euros) and farmers without pastures (20 million euros). The aid per animal ranges from 10.28 euros to 189.66 euros, and the payment is split into two periods, with an advance of up to 70% of the total payment given between October and November, and the remainder paid between December and June of the following year.
