The Agrarian Coffee Cooperative San Jorge, recognized for producing one of the best coffees in the world and home to international champions such as Raúl Mamani (2017 and 2022) and Wilson Sucaticona (2010), signed a tripartite agreement to launch a new alternative development project in the province of Sandia, Puno region. This initiative, which will have the technical support of the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida) and the United Nations Office against Drugs and Crime (UNODC), will be financed by the Government of France through the Interministerial Mission to Fight against Drugs and Addictive Behaviors (Mildeca).
