Peru created agricultural cooperatives to export quinoa in quantity and quality

In order for the organic production of quinoa to have markets abroad, the producers of the Chucuito-Juli province joined the group of farmers who, with the support of the Organic Andean Grains project, attached to the Puno Regional Agrarian Directorate ( DRAP), are associated through cooperatives to achieve benefits from the productive chains in the region. Taking as a reference the successful experience in other provinces, this brand-new Association Nuevo Amanecer los Aymaras, chaired by Mr. Antonio Atencio Yujra, has begun to organize, electing its Administrative Council, Vigilance and Education Committee, as well as the Electoral Committee, which allow them to renew their leaders every year.
