[Korea Farmers' News Agency, Reporter Kim Young-min] Kyungnong is actively expanding its smart farm business in the Philippines. Kyungnong is participating in the "Enhancing Value Chain of High-Income Crops in the Service Areas through the Application of Smart Agriculture in the Philippines" project, which is being promoted by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). This project, which will be carried out over a total of five years with an $8 million grant from KOICA, involves Kyungnong, the Korea Development Strategy Institute (KDS), and Agrosolution Korea. These organizations are sharing tasks such as enhancing smart agriculture capabilities and infrastructure, providing policy advice, and managing outcomes. Among these, Kyungnong is responsible for building smart farm technology and providing local operational consulting.
