Egypt: Putting out Brazilian chicken in those places, catch the 50,000 tons before the quantity runs out

The government, represented by the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, offered 50,000 tons of frozen Brazilian chicken, at a price starting at 65 pounds per kilo, in the branches of the consumer complexes of the Holding Company for Food Industries. The introduction of these quantities of Brazilian chickens came after the large increases that occurred in the price of a kilo of local chickens, which ranged from 85 pounds to 117 pounds in the governorates of the Republic. This led to the start of a noticeable decline in the prices of local chickens after many consumers tended to buy Brazilian chickens from the branches of consumer complexes spread throughout the Republic.
