A collaborative effort between the Center for Science and Technology Applications and Services of Quang Ngai Province and the Farmers' Association of Nghia Dung Commune has led to the successful implementation of a cabbage farming model focused on biosecurity. Conducted over 2,000m2 of land within two farming households, the experiment, utilizing the F1 TN5 cabbage variety, yielded significantly higher results than traditional farming methods, with a production of 2.3 tons/sao. This approach not only enhances product quality and market value but also reduces the dependence on chemical fertilizers and pesticides, leading to increased profit for farmers. The success of this pilot project is expected to inspire wider adoption among farmers in the commune.
