From January to September 2022, Peruvian quinoa exports experienced a decline, with a total value of US$73,184,742, marking a decrease of 9.88% compared to the same period in the previous year. The quantity exported also decreased by 1.56%, reaching 37,351,305 kilos. The United States emerged as the primary market, accounting for 33% of the total exports, followed by Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. The average price per kilogram also saw a decrease to US$1.96, down from US$2.14 in the previous year. Key exporting companies include Alisur, Olam Global Agri Peru, Colorexa, and Globe Natural International.
