Recent rainfall in Argentina has improved the water condition for soy beans, but it will not affect the expected soybean yields due to the advanced phenology of the crop. The projected production is maintained at 25 MTn, which is 44.4% below the average of the last five campaigns. High temperatures and lack of humidity are expected to cause significant decreases in yields, especially in certain regions. Some localities also expect losses of arable land and the water status in the north of the agricultural zone is heterogeneous due to the distribution of rainfall and high temperatures.
