Despite heavy and prolonged rainfall, pineapple fields located in dyke areas and with clear canals have not flooded, resulting in bumper crops. Tan Phuoc district is the largest specialized pineapple cultivator in the region, covering 15,400 hectares, and is currently seeing substantial profits from pineapple farming, estimated at nearly 500 million VND/year per hectare.
