Almería, a province in Andalusia, Spain, has seen a 2.5% increase in exports, reaching a historical high of 3.1 billion in sales in the first nine months of 2020, accounting for 15.1% of Andalusia's total exports. This growth is despite a national decline in sales by up to 14.5%. Almería has the best trade balance of any province in Andalusia, with a surplus of 1,571 million. Seven out of the top ten export categories experienced growth, led by legumes and vegetables. The province also experienced growth in its top four markets, including Germany, France, and the UK, as well as in non-EU markets like Switzerland and Brazil.
