Altai farmers have learned to achieve sufficiently high yields of grains and oilseed crops even in difficult climatic conditions, as evidenced by the results of the harvesting campaigns of recent years. Planting, growing, and harvesting are no longer a problem, especially with the help of modern technologies and the vast experience accumulated. The problem lies elsewhere: where and how to sell the harvest and how to survive with minimal prices for it. Why this is happening and what the current situation might lead to were discussed by the participants of the expert council of the "Manager of the Year - 2025" award. Heroic work A new record for crop yield has been set in Altai. 6.6 million tons of grain have been harvested from the fields, which exceeds last year's figure by 500 thousand tons.
