Malatya, a city in Turkey that produces 85% of the world's dried apricots, saw over 68 thousand tons exported in the past 11 months, generating a revenue of $370 million. Despite the challenges caused by earthquakes and other negativities, the city's Chamber of Commerce aims to reach an export income of $400 million by the end of 2024. In November alone, 8,195 tons of dried apricots were exported, earning over $40 million.
