[Reporter Lee Jang-hee, Korea Farmers and Fishermen Newspaper] Gyeonggi Agricultural Meister University, which is operated with support from the Gyeonggi Provincial Government and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, will recruit "2026 4th term new entrants for the Young CEO Program" until October 31. This recruitment will select a total of 40 people, 20 each from the fields of strawberry and protected horticulture, and is open to any young agricultural workers under the age of 40 residing in the province. The Young CEO Program at Gyeonggi Agricultural Meister University is a one-year educational program newly established in 2023 to help young agricultural workers quickly adapt and grow in the field as they take their first steps in agriculture. The program includes crop-focused technical education, mentoring by leading farmers, and learning organization activities.
