Rector of IPB Encourages Regenerative Agriculture to Face Environmental and Food Crises

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BOGOR — Rector of IPB University Arif Satria appreciated the 50th anniversary of IPB's Agricultural Economics, titled Golden Jubilee and the Agricultural Economics Alumni Meeting held at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) IPB University, Bogor, West Java, on Thursday (6/11/2025). Arif hopes that the study program can contribute to strengthening the resilience of Indonesia's agricultural sector. "An important hope for us is how agricultural economics can be relevant to today's dynamics," said Arif. He mentioned that the agricultural sector must now be able to combine smart technology with sustainability and social justice issues.
