Regenerative agriculture: From healthy soil to healthy food

On December 4, 2025, at the Metropolitan Hotel in Sofia, the final conference "Regenerative Agriculture: From Healthy Soil to Healthy Food," organized by the Association of Bulgarian No-Tillers (ABNT) with the support of EIT Food, co-financed by the European Union, will take place. The event focuses on one of the most important and often underestimated resources – soil, as a vital foundation for producing quality food and the sustainable future of Bulgarian agriculture. It is no coincidence that the conference is held on the eve of World Soil Day – December 5, celebrated on the initiative of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). This date draws attention to the alarming fact that 95% of the food we consume comes from the soil, and its condition is critical for human health, ecosystems, and the economy.
