The Department of Property registered 2 additional GI items, namely Jake Chai Nat White Fragrant Rice And Mae Hong Son Tiger Pattern Beans Along with the opening of the GI Flea Market, shopping, dining, and chilling to create sustainable value added to the market for Thai GI products. Mr. Sinit Lertkrai, Deputy Minister of Commerce Disclosed during a visit to the GI Flea Market, Chuan Shop Chuan said that the Department of Intellectual Property, in collaboration with local authorities, pushes for the registration of new Thai GI products. Recently added 2 additional GI items, namely Jek Chai Nat White Hom Khao And Mae Hong Son Tiger Pattern Beans As a result, there are a total of 136 registered Thai GI products covering 76 provinces, which help increase the market value of GI products after the past Thai GI products have created a total market value of more than 36 billion baht.
