Netherlands: Research into large-scale seaweed production at sea

The parties are working in two consortia with, among others, social organizations and companies from the seaweed and shellfish sector, the food industry and the province of Zeeland. The interdisciplinary research projects have a maximum duration of six years and will start in mid-2022. Together, the projects have been awarded more than 2.6 million euros. Social and private partners will contribute another 450 thousand euros to co-financing.
