The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus has permitted the export of onions, white cabbage, and apples, negatively impacting Ukrainian suppliers of these products, particularly apples and cabbage. This decision has led to an oversupply in Ukraine, keeping prices stable but preventing any increase. The situation is further complicated by potential restrictions on garden strawberries and blueberries, though in the long term, these restrictions could encourage rebuilding and tightening of production to meet export standards. Currently, the manual management of the fruit and vegetable market by the Belarus leadership is resulting in substantial losses.
