According to figures from the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE) compiled by the Office of Planning and Economic Studies of Fedegán-FNG, as of May 31, revenues of USD 257,570,000 were obtained from livestock exports. The segment that has marked this figure has been that of live cattle exports, which reached USD 184,220,000 with the mobilization of 232,704 livestock. There are less than 15,000 left to reach the total for all of 2021 and just over 31,000 to exceed that of 2020.
