Researchers at the Plant Genetic Resources Bank in Romania have developed a new variety of tricolor cherry tomatoes called Rhapsody, after 20 years of work. The new variety, which promises a production of 7 kilograms per plant, is resistant to major pathogens and has a unique aroma and taste. It is expected to be released on the market after the patent is received. The plant can reach up to five meters in height in protected spaces and produces fruit weighing between 20 and 40 grams.
