Rice prices in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam are stable, with some variations depending on the type and location. The region is in the peak of the winter-spring rice harvest. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has confirmed that Southern provinces have harvested 613,190 hectares of rice, accounting for 39.5% of the cultivated area. Export rice prices in Vietnam have increased due to increased exports to China and active buying from Indonesia. In contrast, rice export prices in India and Thailand have decreased. In the US agricultural market, prices of corn and wheat increased, while soybean prices decreased. China has ordered additional 197,000 tons of old-season corn from the US, bringing the total purchase recorded to 2.1 million tons.
