Crude oil prices were once again on a rise, which had a positive impact on the price of rapeseed on the Paris stock exchange, although it fell slightly on Friday, it still saw a weekly increase from nearly 1.5 year low. Similarly, Canadian canola and US soybeans also saw a weekly price increase. The price of rapeseed in France was 25.1% lower than the previous year, canola in Canada was 14.9% lower, and soybeans in the US were 11.0% higher than the previous year. The prices of these agricultural commodities are expected to continue their long-term uptrend, but have a mid-term and short-term downtrend.
