Russia allocates an additional 4.5 billion rubles to vegetable growers

Producers of potatoes and other vegetables in the regions affected by the war with Ukraine will receive additional support under the federal project "Development of vegetable production and potato production". The decree to this effect was signed by the head of the Russian government, Mikhail Mishustin. We are talking about farmers whose property was damaged as a result of the war with Ukraine. From January 1, 2024, for such farmers, when calculating the amount of subsidies, an increasing coefficient is applied, which will increase the amount of state aid. The amount of any subsidy will be determined by regional regulations. In the draft federal budget for 2024, 4.5 billion rubles are provided to support potato and vegetable producers.
