In May, Russia saw a significant increase in grain and flour exports to China, with volumes rising by 2.9 times year-on-year to over 141 thousand tons, valued at $33 million. Barley exports to China experienced the most substantial increase, rising 3.5 times to nearly 80 thousand tons (worth $19 million). Additionally, wheat and meslin exports totaled 28 thousand tons, and flour exports amounted to 10,500 tons. Over the first five months of the year, Russia's grain exports to China surged by 4.6 times to 653 thousand tons, valued at $159 million, compared to the same period last year. Despite this, imports of Russian corn, wheat, soybeans, and rapeseed have experienced a decrease in the first four months of this year.
