The article reports on the successful conclusion of the citrus harvest season in Adjara, a region in Georgia, with a total export of 38 thousand tons of citrus fruits. The main importers of these fruits were Russia, Armenia, and Ukraine. Compared to the previous year, there has been a increase in the export of tangerines and the sale of non-standard citrus fruits. The Government of Adjara, led by Tornike Rizhvadze, plans to continue supporting the citrus industry, particularly in the regions of Adjara, Samegrelo, and Guria.
