Young scientists in Kuzbass, Russia have developed a unique industrial breeding technology for partridges (chukars) to produce environmentally safe meat products. The project, backed by the UMNIK competition, aims to offer chukar meat as a healthier alternative to chicken, with higher calorie content and more minerals. The process involves forming a parent herd, obtaining hatching eggs, raising the young, and slaughtering. Chukars' resistance to stress and diseases eliminates the need for vaccines and antibiotics, enhancing the environmental safety of the end product.
