Russia has expanded the list of goods banned from import from Ukraine

The Russian Government has issued a resolution banning the import or transit of several food products through Ukraine. The prohibited items include barley, palm oil, meat and seafood products, animal feed, timber, and packaging. The resolution, which updates a previous one from 2018, aims to protect Russia's agricultural sector from foreign competition. This decision is reciprocated by Ukrainian dairy farmers banning milk imports from Belarus, indicating a broader trade tension in the region.
