Russia has multiplied its exports of agricultural products to Saudi Arabia in physical terms over the past five years, reported Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak at the Saudi-Russian Investment and Business Forum. "Over the past five years, the volume of supplies has increased 2.5 times in physical terms," said Novak. He called Russia a reliable supplier of agricultural products to the global market. "This fully applies to supplies to your country: the share of agricultural and food products in Russian exports amounted to 45% in 2024. We are increasing supplies of halal products," said Novak. As previously reported by the federal center "Agroexport" under the Ministry of Agriculture, in 2024 Russia exported $1.2 billion worth of agricultural products to Saudi Arabia, which is 24% more than the previous year.
