Russia has seen a significant increase in its exports of pork, beef, and other livestock products from January-November 2024, with pork exports rising by 36% to 204.6 thousand tons, beef by 27% to 37.6 thousand tons, and edible by-products of pigs and cattle by 39% to 63.3 thousand tons. Other products like poultry meat, finished meat products, and dairy products also experienced growth. However, exports of fish and seafood, lamb, and horse meat decreased. The main importers of Russian livestock products include the EAEU states, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, with Russia having access to livestock products in over 105 countries. Rosselkhoznadzor is working to coordinate veterinary certificates for export of animal products with these countries.
