For January-February of the current year, Russia increased the export of vegetable oil cakes and meal from major oilseed crops by 23 percent in monetary terms – to 178 million US dollars. This was reported in a Telegram channel by the federal center for the development of exports of agricultural products ("Agroexport," which belongs to the Ministry of Agriculture – ROSNG). Data are also provided in physical terms. The volumes, unlike the export revenue, did not grow as significantly – by 11%, totaling over 683 thousand tons. For the entire past year, Russia exported about 3.8 million tons of oil cakes and meal for a total of about 977 million dollars. Data on the export of individual types of these solid products for the two months are also provided. They are indicated only in monetary terms.
