Russia has announced the removal of restrictions on the import of grapefruit, pomegranate, grapes, oranges, and peppers from Turkey. The Animal and Plant Quarantine Service of Russia made this known after determining that the maximum permissible levels of harmful substances were not exceeded. The decision follows testing of these products for foreign substances like pesticides, conducted in collaboration with the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Consequently, the export of products previously banned from Turkey to Russia is set to resume.
