Russia to help Mongolia grow fish

The head of the Federal Agency for Fishery agreed with the Ambassador of Mongolia to Russia to work out the possibility of organizing cooperation in the field of fisheries. The agency offered to provide advisory support in the field of aquaculture to fish farms in Mongolia. As previously reported, the Russian side proposed to consider the possibility of expanding the supply of Russian fish products to Mongolia. According to the ambassador, the consumption of fish products among the population of Mongolia has been increasing recently. Accordingly, the country needs good fish products. Before that, Russia mainly supplied its neighbors with frozen, dried fish or canned food. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to intensify bilateral contacts on fisheries issues.
