Over the 4 months of the current year, Russia increased its molasses exports by 3.4 times in monetary terms compared to the same period of the previous year – up to $15 million. This is reported in the next review by the federal center for agricultural product development ("Agroexport", owned by the Ministry of Agriculture), which was posted in its Telegram channel. In physical terms, shipments increased 2.1 times to 151,000 tons. Turkey emerged as the largest importer both in specific volumes and by value, having purchased 100,000 tons of this product for over $8 million. Egypt and Tunisia also made it into the top 3 on both indicators – over 20 and around 10 thousand tons for $2 million and $900,000, respectively. The country also slightly increased export volumes of solid processing product – pulp. 572,000 tons were shipped, which is 7 percent more year-on-year.
