Rusagrotrans JSC predicts a 13% decrease in Russia's wheat exports in January 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, dropping from 4.26 million tons to approximately 3.7 million tons. This reduction is aimed at maintaining high wheat reserves and boosting export volumes in the spring. The decrease in exports during the last two months of 2023 was attributed to weather factors and unfavorable global conditions, despite wheat reserves in agricultural enterprises being nearly at the record level of 2023 as of January 1, 2024.
