Russia is planning to provide African countries with 25-50 thousand tons of grain free of charge, with free delivery included, over the next few months. Last year, trade in agricultural products between Russia and African countries increased by 10% to $6.7 billion, and in the first half of this year, it increased by a record 60%. President Vladimir Putin emphasized the importance of uninterrupted food supply to African countries and expressed Russia's willingness to support them through humanitarian aid and by sharing agricultural expertise and advanced technologies.
