Since 2019, China has been the leading importer of Russian meat, followed by Saudi Arabia and Belarus, according to the Russian Agricultural Products Export Center. In 2024, Russia's meat and animal offal exports hit a record high of US$1.7 billion, marking a 24% increase from the previous year, with poultry making up 48% of the exports, pork 37%, and beef 14%. The center anticipates that by 2030, Russian meat exports could surpass US$3.6 billion.
