China's agricultural purchases from Russia have doubled compared to the same period last year, with the purchase of 681,000 tons of barley, 203,000 tons of buckwheat, and 18.8 tons of oats. Russia is the only supplier of buckwheat to China and is the second largest exporter of oats to China. The bilateral trade volume of agricultural products, raw materials, and food between Russia and China is projected to increase by 33.9% to US$11.1 billion in 2023.
