Scientists from the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus are planning to collaborate on projects to achieve food security in their countries. The projects will focus on breeding new cattle breeds adapted to climatic conditions and disease resistant, as well as mechanizing agricultural processes and producing feed. The collaboration will also involve the exchange of genetic resources. The plans were discussed at the International Scientific and Practical Forum 'Agrarian Science - Agricultural Production in Siberia, Mongolia, CIS countries and BRICS'.
