Russian chocolate exports to China have rebounded significantly, tripling by the end of 2023 following a substantial decline in 2022. ASKOND company forecasts that by the end of 2023, these exports will surpass 33 thousand tons, a significant increase from the 11 thousand tons exported in 2022. This resurgence positions China as a rapidly expanding and highly appealing market for Russian chocolate and related confectionery products. However, experts argue that government support is necessary to fully realize the sector's potential.
