Russian snail producers unite in a union

Moscow. September 19. INTERFAX.RU - A Union of Snail Breeders has been formed in Russia. Sergei Balayev became the founder and head of the new organization, the corporate publication of Rosselkhoznadzor "Veterinary Science and Life" reports. It was Balayev who, at a meeting between President Vladimir Putin and the public in December 2019, asked to pay attention to this industry and raised the issue of classifying snail farming as an agricultural activity.
