In the first four months of the 2023-2024 agricultural year, Russia significantly increased its corn exports to 1.12 million tons, almost four times higher than the previous season, as it replaced falling Ukrainian exports. Corn exports in October specifically increased by 5.5 times, with the top four importers being Iran, Turkey, Vietnam, and China. Overall, grain exports from Russia have reached 26.5 million tons since July 1, a 32% increase from the same period the previous year, with wheat being the most exported crop. However, October saw a decrease in grain shipments compared to the previous year.
