Bo Chinh ginseng plants grown in Thua Thien Hue province were dying in large numbers, causing farmers to struggle. A pilot model linking planting and consuming Bo Chinh ginseng with Hoang Gia Company was implemented, but the ginseng plants began to wilt, rot, and die during the flowering and tuber development phase. The Center for Agricultural Services advised farmers to harvest early, but this compromises the quality and yield of the ginseng roots.
