Samsun's four agricultural basins are directing the production power of Turkey's Century

Agricultural activities in Samsun have been reconsidered in line with the great potential offered by the four agricultural basins the province possesses. A meeting chaired by Samsun Governor Orhan Tavlı evaluated the agricultural activities in the province. The meeting was attended by Metropolitan Mayor Halit Doğan, regional and provincial directors of institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and district agricultural chamber presidents. In his speech at the meeting, Governor Tavlı said, "We have 4 agricultural basins. Three of them are Çarşamba, Bafra, and Vezirköprü, and the fourth is the Black Sea. The Black Sea, from which we source our fish and aquatic products, is also our agricultural basin. We are establishing a Specialized Free Trade Zone for Fish Processing in Yakakent.
