The harvest season for Ko Yo sapodilla, a unique fruit grown in Songkhla Province, Thailand, has commenced. The fruit, harvested from January and available throughout the year, is a significant source of income for local farmers like Mrs. Wirawan Thipbowon. The sapodilla from this region is distinct due to the area's fresh, salt, and brackish water, resulting in a sweet, crisp, and fine-textured fruit. The produce is certified safe according to GAP standards from the Department of Agriculture.
