"Sea AI Forum" opens... Discussion on marine and fisheries innovation

The "2025 Sea AI Forum," which discussed artificial intelligence (AI) innovation and data fusion in the marine and fisheries sector, was held on the 14th at the Busan Port International Exhibition and Convention Center Event Hall. This forum was jointly hosted by the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST) and the Korea Maritime and Ocean University (KMI). The event was organized in line with the new government's national policy goals of achieving a "world-leading innovative economy" and advancing the "AI 3 Major Powers" strategy, with participation from industry, academia, research, and government to explore the introduction of AI technology and the advancement of marine science and technology through data fusion in the marine and fisheries sector.
