The export value in October was NOK 727 million higher than the previous record month, which was September 2022. “Seafood exports from Norway showed a historic increase in October. The cost of NOK 15 billion is more than a solid record. This means that every day this month we exported just under NOK 500 million worth of seafood. These are huge numbers that show how important this industry is to Norway,” says Christian Kramer, CEO of the Norwegian Seafood Council. Norway has exported seafood worth NOK 123.9 billion this year.
