The Ministry of Finance in Indonesia has drafted the 2025 APBN with a focus on economic growth, particularly through the promotion of downstream programs. Initially concentrated on mineral mining-based industries, this initiative aims to diversify to include agro-based products such as seaweed, fisheries, and Crude Palm Oil. By adding value to these products, the ministry seeks to stimulate economic growth. Additionally, the plan includes strategies to boost the competitiveness of downstream industries, such as the battery and electric vehicle industry ecosystem, industrial standardization, increased use of domestic products, and enhancing the quality and quantity of industrial human resources.
