Sebrae Nacional and Consevitis-RS join forces to strengthen winemaking in Brazil

The Institute of Management, Planning and Development of Viticulture of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (Consevitis-RS) has signed an agreement with Sebrae Nacional to implement the sectoral project "Strengthening Brazilian Viticulture". With an investment of over R$2.4 million, of which R$1,687,547.00 comes from Sebrae and R$750,000.00 from Consevitis-RS, the initiative will begin in October 2024 and will run until December 2025. The main objective is to increase per capita consumption of Brazilian wines and sparkling wines, promoting the appreciation and highlighting the quality of these products in the domestic market. The project aims to strengthen the entire production chain of the wine sector, encompassing individual microentrepreneurs (MEI), microenterprises (ME), small businesses (EPP), as well as medium and large wineries, grape producers, commercial agents and those interested in the segment.
